MARTIN W. RICHARDSON
age 77, of Lyons, OH
died Saturday, May 24, 2008
at Flower Hospital. Martin was born August 5, 1930 in
Morenci,
MI the son of James N. and
Nellie J. (Smith) Richardson. He married Ruth E. Kistner
on
October 22, 1950 in Lyons, Oh and
she survives. He had been employed at the American Chain and Cable,
retiring in 1985 after 37 1/2
years of employment. Martin was a member of the Jasper Bible Church. He
was on the Lyons Fire Department from 1951 until 1975, serving on the
First Aid Squad and teaching Basic Red
Cross. He enjoyed camping, arts and crafts.
Martin was a member of the Hitch Up and Go Club for 30 years and a
lifetime member of the NCHA/FCRV Club since 1966.
In addition to his wife, Ruth, Martin
is survived by his children, Martin Walter Richardson, Jr. of Three
Rivers, MI, Patty Ann Richardson
of
Toledo, OH and Michael J. Richardson of Tampa,
FL; one sister,
Ruby (Robert) Kime of Lyons, OH; five grandchildren, nine
great-grandchildren. He was preceded
in death by his parents, one brother, Jim Richardson, and three sisters,
Dorothy Double, Marie Roth and Mary Hire.

predeceased by wife Jackie 3/5/04 and a son Christopher, 75
years old,
4 children. Member of FCRV for over 35 years Chapter 40 Forest
Dwellers.
Lifetime resident of Troy, Michigan
Volunteer Firefighter with City of Troy for 37 years.
Best known companion - his dog "Prince"
