 Welcome to the Michigan State Association of Family Campers and RV's website. We have a lot of information for you to browse through and hope that you find an activity that you would be interested in for your family to enjoy,

 One of the strong points of FCRV is its fellowship with other members. So many friendships are acquired across the state and also across the nation. These friendships become long lasting throughout the years.

 Michigan offers many campouts during the year. We have a spring statewide campout in May and a fall statewide in September. Both are held at various State Fairgrounds across Michigan and offer educational programs in disaster awareness training, wildlife, conservation, and self-propelled camping. A hospitality area is setup all weekend offering complimentary beverages and snacks. We usually have around 150 to 200 members attending and everyone gathers together on Saturday evening for an entertainment program. A non-denominational church service is offered on Sunday morning with a special puppet program for the youth. In May we have games for adults and activities for youth including a pageant to select a prince and princess and a teenie king and queen. The teens hold sporting events and a chaperoned activity in the evening. Recognition awards are given honoring chapter anniversaries and outstanding service.

 At the fall campout in September, we have a Teen King and Queen contest for the 13 to 19 year olds. The winner of the Teen Queen Contest goes on to compete on the National level against all the Teen Queens throughout the United States and Canada. This international "Campvention" is always held in July at various locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

 Michigan has more than 70 active Chapters across the state, so surely we can find one with similar camping interests to yours. Most chapters camp once a month and have winter activities also.
